i would like the admins to delete my account and permanently block me. i realize that my l&c fetish is something that i will always have, but i cannot let it consume me. it will be fetish that i will share with my future wife, who i know will love and accept me for it. over the past few months i have realized that this fetish can consume and individual. when i get my own life together (i don't mean financially or socially either, i mean come to terms with who i am), i know i will come back to terms with this fetish...but in a different way.

i've been a member of this particular community since it's virtual inception and feel that this is a group of nothing more than self loathing people. i used to deny that i had a problem, but i do. i'm not running from my fetish that i have been given, but simply taking control of it. i want to wish well to all the people that i have had the privilege to talk to over the years. we are all a unique group of people who share a unique idea. there is nothing wrong with that, but i don't want to let it define me personally.

i don't really think i ever made any real friends through here, but i wish all of you the best in your own personal lives regardless. this is probably one of the hardest things ive ever had to do considering i worked so hard to get to vip***, but please delete my account admins. i wont let my fetish define or consume my life. i give my respect and well wishes to all of you.

Still, please don't group all of us into "self loathing people". I'm certainly not in that category. My life may be a little more stressful and busy than I'd like, but I'm generally ok with it. I realize I have my "quirks" and the L&C fetish is one of them ... but I see no problem with that either.

Actually, I think younger women are getting more and more likely to work out for "strength" vs. just "toning", so all of this will get a little more "mainstream" one of these days.....

I had those pauses too. In last couple of months I have a feeling I will do it once again. Anyway, over the past time I think LC weakens at me. I remember forst time I saw LC photo on net I got myself wet (if you know what I am mean), but now - it is not a case. Don't project, dude. Just because you are having personal problems doesn't mean we are all in the same boat. People have fetishes. Some may be more normal than the other but my fetish- which is fun thing for me- is a very very small part of me and that's how it should be. I know I'm not self loathing. Everybody has their kink, it's just a matter of keeping perspective. On the surface, I'm about as normal as it gets, and I don't spend my days jumping on women's backs or jerking off to images of cradle carries.

I'm comfortable with myself and this fetish, but I definitely don't let the world in on it. Just like I don't let the world in on private conversations I have with friends and family about life. This is just something that arouses me. For some people, it's feet. For others, it's porn. For others, it's playing video games. It's all about keeping it in perspective. I'd even go as far as being in a Lift and Carry video, and it STILL wouldn't consume my life. I've got too much other fun stuff going on. Variety is the spice of life.

It sounds like some people are addicted...to drama. Most people look at L&C from time to time because it's a turn-on (like bikinis or blondes) or just an interest (like dancing). We leave it at that. If you can't stop obsessing about L&C, the problem isn't the L&C. Most of us can drink a glass of wine with every dinner without getting drunk every night. It's all about self control, which may be a foreign concept in our "everything's an addiction or psychological disorder" world of hype. So, you get turned on by watching some form of L&C? So what? Some thoughts on this from me.

I have been a largely silent member since the days of the old forum. I too did think along the 'self loathing' lines for a considerable time and even had my first account deleted here. I do feel though that feeling so comes not from the actual fetish, but an addiction to it. Especially considering there is nothing physically harmful about this as opposed to say smoking, drinking, etc.

However, I have (or am trying to) come to an acceptance of myself and my idiosyncrasies. While people may offer you their perspective, It's a journey everyone has to make and experience on their own. On their own timetable. So by all means, take a break from this if you'd like. If deleting your account helps, do so. But I've found it to be far less stressful if you accept your needs. Remember, if your addiction was strong, so might be the withdrawal symptoms.

If I were to suggest one thing, speak to a counsellor. And a good one (can't stress this enough). You may find it helpful, although not necessarily painless, to deal with your emotional health.
