Sad to note

The first woman that I ever say actually lift a full size man over head, Chyna, was found dead in her apartment from apparently natural causes. She had been dead for several days according to Yahoo news. She was in her 40's.

That is sad news and I am shocked. Just looked up in the LA times. She was only 45 . I do thank you for the info.

'' The 9th wonder of the world" Will be greatly missed in the wrestling world . ) :

I was a big fan of hers at the time, she just blew my mind with some of her feats of strength, and being the first accepted muscular female in a wrestling company. It's such a shame that her post-wrestling life took such a tragic turn. RIP Chyna.

RIP Chyna. She'll never be forgotten, especially by fans of the attitude era.

re: Chyna

Yeah.... I wasn't a big pro wrestling follower but she definitely stood out from that crowd, at least for me.

If I'm not mistaken, she suffered from some type of neck injury that caused her to retire from wrestling. After that, it sounds like she got into porn to make a living and elements of that lifestyle (the drugs, etc.) took their toll from there.

Looking at today's situation, it's too bad she didn't find a way into Hollywood, starring as a superhero? She would have made an amazing "She Hulk" to add to the Avengers movies, or maybe even the new Wonder Woman?
