The first time I got into lift & carry was when I was 12. I went swimming with my older sister and her friend. We were playing in the pool and my sister and her friend gave each other shoulder rides. Than my sisters friend asked me to get on her shoulders too, but I refused. Then she gave my sister a piggyback ride. After that they did some acro stunts in the water like shoulderstand etc. Because my sisters friend did sports acrobatic it was her idea to do some acro stunts in pool. Then she asked me to join the acro fun and I refused again. But she did not stop asking so i finaly said yes.

And she told me that she want to try some acro lifts with me. First she grapped me and put me on my sisters shoulders and put my sister with me on her shoulders. I thought wow she is very strong to carry both of us. After that she told me she wanna try something else and to my surprise she came in front of me and lifted me over her head. She could me lift very easily and I was a little shocked but I also was fazinated about to get lifted by a girl. From this moment on I realy love to get lifted by girls.

Interesting what were your size/weight relative to her.

my size were 1,40m and my weight was 35 kilos. she were 1,70 and her weight was around 68 kilos

I think I was 12. I remember seeing a picture of Sable lifting Luna in a fireman's carry online and something clicked. I've been hooked ever since. I think the 2nd picture I really remember is of Rebecca Rosza lifting Nicole and also that guy in the jeans and blue polo shirt.

Believe it or not, it came to me in a series of dreams...which I won't go into, but suffice to say they involved L&C. I think I was between 10 and 13 at the time, that's when it first...er...had an effect on me. I didn't recognise it as an official turn-on until much later however. Really not until uni that I started to explore it as a fetish - I was one of those upstanding nice (weird?) kids who never looked at porn until then. Uni - ruining the youth of today since 1963.

I often think about where it started and HOW it became a turn on, but the only thing that strikes me is it seems to occur by accident. I mean, a lot of fetishes are later manifestations of childhood experiences that got buried, if you want to get Freudian a lot can be explained by the attitude/behaviour of the mother etc etc. However, I think L&C is more akin to an objectification fetish rather than anything else.

I've heard somewhere that if you experience sexual pleasure consistently in the same circumstances, you start to associate those circumstances with that experience - and eventually, they become a turn-on. So if you are always having sex facing the same painting by Picasso (for example), eventually you start to associate that painting with the act and...well...yeah. Maybe that's garbage, but personally I think L&C started off as what first turned me on.

Come to think of it, I CAN trace instances of L&C back into my childhood. There was a tomboy at school who used to prove her prowess by throwing her weight around and that involved hoisting guys into the air and such. At the time I think I wanted to repeat that activity but didn't recognise why or what it did for me.

I can recall when I was 6, I was pretty thin and a big girl of my class use to give me piggyback rides. I remember that I really enjoyed those.
Also, at the same age, I was struggling to get some water from some fountain because it was too high for me and suddenly a pretty girl from my class picked me and lifted me a bit to help me reach the water. I felt aroused, somehow.

I moved when I was 8 and all this remained "asleep". The "awakening" was at high school. I was 16 and I had a crush on a girl one year younger. She was really pretty and hot. Although she was petite, she was a sportive girl and very active, so she didn't seem weak (nor strong, of course). She looked a bit like Jessica Alba, not THAT hot but just to see the kind of body she had. We use to hang out with some friends in a mixed group with people from both promos.
One day, we were seeing some school sport competitions and far from where I was I saw a friend of mine standing on the shoulders of someone. When I got there and I saw this girl, I was shocked, aroused and a lot of strange feelings came to me.

Finally I could put some order to that inside my head. A few weeks later, we were at a crowded concert in the street, and she gave another shoulder sit to a skinny and little friend of mine (like 50 kg, or 110 lbs). At that time, she was 163 cm tall and (she told me) 49 kg (about 108 lbs). I was 6'1" feet tall and 67 kg (about 147 lbs).

She told me she could handle me for so long (longer than my little friend) because I was more 'comfortable' to carry... I was completely excited, but I wasn't physically aroused at that time.

So everything begun with that girl (who during 2 years after that gave me some other lifts, mainly piggybacks, not very often though, I can recall every one of them...) In the begining, I was only excited about the idea of being lifted by this girl, so I lost many good chances of being carried by other girls at the time (silly me :P)

Now I'm 30, I weight 80 kg (176 lbs), and lifts are becoming rarer and rarer in my life... Last one, late 2008 :S.
