Default How do you guys connect clips?

What programs does anyone recommend to combine video clips?

Specifically, I would like to combine some wmv clips.

Any ideas?

I use Windows Media Encoder to combine wmv and other types of files.

Boilsoft Video Joiner does it the quickest and best because it doesn't reencode the files, but is not free. Many others can do it but require a full reencode which takes alot of time and potentially lowers the quality.

Asftools is also pretty good. It is compact and fast because no re-encoding is involved.

Yep, asftools is freeware but as I don't mind re-encoding ( you just have to be careful) I tend to go with windows media encoder. WME is so much more than a file splitter and joiner.

That's probably the easiest way to go about doing it.
