Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos suspended for steroids
Thought I'd pass this along for those that believed Cyborg was a "natural" female. I mentioned many months back before she fought Gina Carano that I suspected she was on something like Winstrol. Winstrol will give you explosive strength while keeping you lean.
Her lifting clips to me are not so impressive considering she's juiced up. http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slu...pension_010612 |

Strut:
I agree. I used to work along the Venice Beach Boardwalk years ago and most of the FBB I met were really strong but obvious users of chemical substances to enhance their power for lifting. |

It was very obvious, just like for EVERY professional bodybuilder or sportsman. But she still looks cool.

Too bad they didn't catch it until now. It was obvious her speed and strength were not natural.

What's really funny is that Santos is using the "dietary supplement" excuse. Reminds me of Barry Bonds.
?While I was preparing myself for my last fight I was having a difficult time cutting weight and used a dietary supplement that I was assured was safe and not prohibited from use in sports competition,? wrote Santos in a statement through MMAPrime. ?It was never my intention to obtain an unfair advantage over Hiroko, mislead Strikeforce, the Commission or my fans. I train harder than any fighter in MMA and do not need drugs to win in the cage, and I have proven this time and time again! My only mistake is not verifying the diet aid with my doctor beforehand, and understanding that it was not approved for use in the ring.? http://www.fighters.com/01/08/cristi...iled-drug-test |
