To fellow producers

Hello,
Whenever and wherever I find a clip that is copyrighted, and obviously not supposed to be there, I report it.

I would kindly ask you, my fellow producers, to do the same. There is still some people out there that don't respect that many of us producers is "ordinary people" that don't make that much money on these videos/clips.

We delete all links to copyright clips posted here but unfortunately youtube doesn't have a mechanism for reporting copyright violations unless your the copyright holder I have tried in the past.

It would be helpful if more producers were willing to enforce their copyright violations, the big problem is that its hard for them to get any traction when the countries where the violators live are unwilling to do any form of enforcement.

I'am checking youtube and vk.com sometimes and removing my videos if I found them. But I can't do anything with clips of other producers, only send link to copyrite owner if I know contacts of this producer.

If the producers wish to do so, please feel free to start a thread in the help desk that will only be visible to yourself and the admins and I will post copyright violation links there instead of just deleting them. This way you can send take down notices and have offending channel holders removed from the streaming platform.

Thanks for your concern and suggestion. However I think you do a great job removing links to copyrighted material. They are usually removed the same day. I think we can use this thread to inform each other when we find material on platforms. Or what do you say?

this thread is opened for everyone including nonregistered guests, not sure that it's good idea)
but we can make such thread in one of other threads in private sections of the forum

I agree, probably this should not be the final thread to communicate copyright infringments. However I want to inform you, that I just successfully got one of my clips deleted in Lubelski channel on youtube. I would appreciate, when also Ganju and Dunehands would check it and acclaim their copyrights. Probably (hopefully) youtube will even close it, when different producers acclaim their rights and make evident, that this user does not at all care about copyrights.

Thanks, greybeezer, you and the other moderators do a great job. You mean, that every producer can open his own thread, only visible to himself and the mods? And then you delete copyrighted links in the common thread and put it in the producers special thread, that he can acclaim his copyright?

Then we still could need a good idea/possibility, to inform other producers, when we see their clips elsewhere.

I am in vacation at the moment (only with my smartphone, it's a bit uncomfortable), I will care again mid next week. Thanks.

This clip from the pirate channel is migrated to vk.com already, mail me at l_n_c@rambler.ru and I'll send you link. Good clip btw
