Have you ever told/asked a girlfriend to try L&C?

Has anyone ever asked or tried to get their girlfriend to do L&C with them? I’ve always wanted to but was too anxious to ask. I’ll get a piggyback ride here and there just playing around but I’ve never asked to do it seriously.

Yes I have. On one occasion I was sitting with my girlfriend around her house and on impulse I lifted her up. I only got her a few inches off the floor and she was laughing about it. I saw an oppurtunity and asked her if she could do any better. She lifted me over her shoulder easily and walked me into the kitchen where her mum was. Her mum thought it hilarious and - believe it or not - then picked me up in a cradle carry. She and my gilrfriend told me that I was as light as a feather. As you may gather,I enjoyed this immensely.

A few years ago but I'll never forget it.

Yes. Both she and her mum were both the same height as me (5ft 9.5 inches) but heavier than I was - I'm still the same weight just about. I was/am approx 133 lbs. my girlfriend was about 150 lbs and her mum 168lbs.

I’ve had a number of lift and carry experiences with ex-girlfriends, and my wonderful current partner. I’ve never talked about specifically having a fetish for lift and carry, but they all quickly realized that I enjoyed by carried by them and we would/do incorporate some L&C into foreplay. Yes, this is something I've shared with all my recent partners. I still feel a little shy about it, but as far as kinks go this one is pretty sweet and harmless. And really, all sexual partnerships should eventually include a conversation about what specific turn-ons each person has.

So my advice is to definitely share this with your gfs/partners! It's a good sign of a loving relationship when partners want to give pleasure to each other, and if you don't share this information you'll deprive them of that opportunity to really turn you on. Sure, you can probably get some lifts in a more indirect way, and maybe they will intuit that it turns you on, but speaking from experience it's so much better to just be upfront.
