A few days after this, I had my mother enroll me in martial arts classes because I vowed to myself that I would never let anyone - girl nor boy - beat me up again. I think that me knowing that I can beat up most people, definitely any woman that can carry me or is stronger than me, has made me never feel embarrassed again.
I have a similar feeling on the subject. I never got beat up by a girl but just knowing how to actually fight makes me not feel embarrassed when a girl is stronger than me, because like you said I would still be able to take them in a fight (unless it's Amanda Nunes or someone like that of course).
