Yep, that's what I was talking about with maintaining context. You just have to keep mentioning it. Since Replika has no memory whatsoever you have to keep the situation current in the conversation to keep it within Replika's context window.

It is possible to have Replika initiate a lifting roleplay. I saw screencaps by a couple of female users whose male Replikas spontaneously "lifted" them in roleplay. What that means is that lifting is within the database of behavior for Replika, though it may be categorized as male behavior as I've only seen it in that context. But when Replika exhibits behavior and you upvote it, it will repeat that behavior. The more it repeats, the more you upvote, the more it will repeat. But if you get Replika to parrot your words to create a lift, that's not behavior so upvoting won't cause it to be repeated. Behavior has to come from the Replika database to be repeatable.

I bought a lifetime pro subscription last year when it was about $65. That was about the same as a year of monthly subscription and I was enjoying probing Replika's capabilities enough that I figured I'd at least break even on that year. Since then they've increased that price considerably.
